FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this therapy?

No. This program is educational and skills-based. It is designed to teach practical tools you can apply in daily life. It does not replace therapy, diagnose conditions, or provide clinical treatment.

Do I need to relive my past to benefit?

No. Repeatedly reliving past experiences often reinforces trauma responses rather than resolving them. This course focuses on present-moment skills that help your system respond differently now.

What if I’m easily overwhelmed?

You are encouraged to go at your own pace. The material is structured so you can pause, repeat, or move more slowly as needed. There is no pressure to keep up or “push through.”

How much time does this take each week?

Most participants spend a few hours per week engaging with the lessons, plus short daily practices that take only a few minutes. The emphasis is consistency, not time intensity.

Is there community support?

Yes. Participants have access to a private Facebook group as well as a members-only community on our course platform called Survivors to Thrivers, where you can connect with others and receive ongoing support.

How does Phase 1 connect to Phase 2?

Phase 1 focuses on helping you recognize triggers and interrupt automatic reactions. Phase 2 builds the core life skills that many people were never taught by their caregivers, skills that support trust, boundaries, and a more fulfilling adult life.

This is not a passive-read-it-all and then do-nothing kind of thing. Let’s be real. It takes a bit of effort and focus to achieve the kind of results you want to achieve.
